ABOUT HARRIET

Born and educated in Edinburgh, Harriet Tyce graduated from Oxford University in 1994 with a degree in English Literature before working as a criminal barrister for nearly a decade.

In 2017 she graduated from the University of East Anglia with a MA in Creative Writing – Crime Fiction, and her debut Blood Orange was published in 2019. This was a Sunday Times bestseller and won a Neilsen gold award in 2020 as one of the bestselling novels of the year. It was followed by further Sunday Times bestsellers The Lies You Told and It Ends At Midnight. A Lesson in Cruelty was published in April 2024 to great critical acclaim.

She lives in north London with her husband and children.
